Our studio classes are comprised of Vinyasa Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra Restore and are undertaken in-person at Hampton Life Saving Club.
Class sizes are usually limited to 22 participants but have now been reduced to 10 participants to adhere with social distancing requirements. Given the smaller class sizes, classes fill fast, so book in quick to secure your preferred time!
A nourishing yoga practice that unites the movements of your body with breath. These flow classes build strength, flexibility, concentration and then provide a deep nurturing relaxation, savasana. Pranayama (breath work) and yogic philosophy are also included.
A rejuvenating yoga practice, ideal for an evening class, as it helps settle the mind and body to ease into a relaxing evening. A gentle approach to traditional asanas, bringing balance to body, mind and spirit, with the time to work towards individual yoga goals. Pranayama (yoga breathing) and meditation are woven into the asana sequences, and the classes conclude with a deep relaxation in savasana.
Yoga Nidra Restore
A Yoga Nidra Restore class begins with Pranayama (breathing techniques) and then a guided deep relaxation. Yoga Nidra is the practice used to help take our nervous system out of flight/fight response (sympathetic nervous system) and into rest and digest or relaxation response (the parasympathetic nervous system) to experience deep healing and peace.
As the flight/fight response shuts down the immune system, Yoga Nidra Restore helps boost our immunity by accessing the healing part of the nervous system.
